"We are proud to be a multicultural community where everyone contributes and enriches the program.
Founded in 2009, CENY (Spanish Educational Center) is a non-profit organization that has been running a Saturday Spanish immersion program for children since 2009. Its multicultural community shares a common goal: Incorporating the Spanish language and culture into the personal and academic lives of the students who attend their center.
We are in 525 West. 52nd St, New York, NY
The unique Spanish immersion curriculum of CENY "is designed for children aged 3 to 14 who have exposure to Spanish at home and possess a basic level of proficiency but wish to strengthen and expand their understanding and vocabulary. It encourages them to think in Spanish spontaneously, much like any child living in a Spanish-speaking country would."
CENY organizes classes by grade in unique small groups of up to 14 students per class. Classes run from mid-September to mid-June, 31 Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to 2 p.m.,
We try to maintain the links that unite us to our culture so that through the game and the academic content taught, students can communicate naturally in Spanish.
