ALFONSO MOGABURO

My name is Alfonso Mogaburo Cid, a music teacher with over 30 years of experience.
I have taught classes in elementary and secondary schools, as well as in universities through programs organized by "Young Audiences" of New York, New Jersey, and Virginia.
I have developed and produced an educational program for the Lincoln Center Institute, "La Música Flamenca," with the aim of introducing Flamenco to the teaching staff of New York schools.
In my music workshops, we have culminated in the production of a children's album presented nationally titled "Songs from the East Village."
Since the founding of CENY, I have had the honor of being the head music teacher.
My work at the center brings me great satisfaction as I strongly believe in teaching music applied to language learning. Moreover, we have not only adopted repertoires from other musicians but also composed and produced our own with the active participation of all classes.
